Hello guys, I have 300 holes to be cut for floorboxes in raised floor tiles(office type) Steel cover with chipboard inside.

We are used to cut the tiles with Jigsaw but after some cutting jigsaw always the cuts become at an angle and not staight..

So the question is what would be the best way to do this many holes? If anyone knows a contact in London who could cut this type of tiles in a workshop with a stand band saws or any other equipment that would be greatly appreciated.

Are the tiles removable? If so I would be looking to send them off for water jet cutting or laser cutting, depending on the material.

i'ljust ring my uncle Hermann. his Luftwaffe soon make you some holes in them tiles.

Yes, the tiles are removable. 600x600 3mm mild steel arround and i think 46mm chipboard wood inside.

Laser cutter ?

Found a Guy down the Pub, Says he'll do it cheap.

probably laser, most chipboard wont like water.

i would send them to a company called cut profiles ltd in exhall coventry.
if they cant be cut with laser, they will mill the pockets out.
if you contact them, just say james the spark sent you.

Going to the pub! I remember that.
