I've got to earth a new 50mm steel gas pipe.
The pipe fitter didn't fit an earth stud to it and now he's gone.

Am I just looking at a large earth strap or something else?

Any ideas are welcome?

You need something like this and you can get them for various pipe diameters.

I don't do pipe fitting ha ha.
It's just an off cut that was standing in the corner when I took the photo of the steel pipe.

Do the flanges need bonding jumpers across the flanges ?

Due to a supplier delay, the gas pipe is now bonded via welded studs.

16mm earth via a stud on the pipe within 600mm of the consumer side.

Also cross bonded over joints too.

Do you mean following a continuity test to check?
Looking at the paint?.....I reckon it'll be OK.

Those photos were prior to the studs being welded David. All is good. Job done and dusted.
