Is it possible to have 3 x male blue 32a c plugs to 1 x 63a 3ph socket

Hi,

Im new to this forum and need to pick someones brains. I bought a 3ph 63a Distro in a flightcase with dimmer packs, sockets and RCD. It works well in venues with 3ph but I would like to use it in smaller venues which only have single phase. I have seen a converter [TABLE="width: 678"]

ok so i take that as its not possible to have 3 plugs to 1 socket. most of my initial post did not show.

You can make a single-phase plug to 3-phase socket jumper for use where the 3-phase distro is only serving single-phase loads, in which all 3 phases are paralleled. You cannot make any kind of jumper with multiple interconnected plugs due to the hazard of pins in one plug being energised from another, and backfeeding into isolated circuits via the same route.

cheers for that. so im thinking the distro will only pull a max of 32a total but only on one of the phases.

Reading between the lines, I think what you've got are two or three separate dimmers which are all mounted in one flightcase?

If so, your best option is just to convert the rack power from being 1 x 63/3 and becoming 3 x 32/1 (or whatever). What dims are they, what's the configuration and what else is going on in the rack like demux etc???

Whatever makes you think I do pyro?
Just cos we've got to that time of year when I have gunpowder ingrained under my fingernails and have a slight aroma of sulphur about my person you go jumping to conclusions!!

So far the OP has conjured up images of 3 beta packs and a demux with a bit of bodge nd scarper distro in a box which I watched go through eBay a little while ago.
It's probably got each dimmer on plugs already if you take some blanking panels off.

Thanks for your help guys. yes there are 3 dimmers and a demux. I didnt really want to change the rack or rewire as it works well in a large venue which has the 63a sockets. it was just that there are smaller venues with 32's and 16's. So as im new to this. Would i be right in saying i can get and adaptor with a 32a single plug to a 63a 3ph socket. I understand that the live would be strung across the 3 phases. Was looking at something
