What's your view on putting isolators a inside kitchen cupboards mounted on a surface box? I'd normally have them on show obove worktop but in this case the walls are being clad with composite stone. Is there any reason why this wouldn't comply with regs?

Just make sure they are in a position where they are unlikely to get knocked, I usually fit at the front - top so easy to access and switch without emptying the cupboard and can be seen so less likely to be bashed.

Seen it done loads of times.

I've also seen a dedicated hinged false drawer front which housed all isolators in separate surface boxes.

As Darkwood says, don't tuck them away at the back of a cupboard otherwise you may not be complying with a few regs I can think of.
