Do I need to finish electrical intallation level2 and then level3 or it is enough only level3, if I want to get JIB electrician grade. The collage accepted to take me straight in to level3. Thanks for information.

If you re looking for 'electrical' grade, they'll ask for NVQ. You might get improver or something like that, you'll have to see :)

Hi mate I have jsut done LV3 also believe you will need NVQ also
well I am hoping that 2330lv3, NVQlv3 and the other quals i have will hopefuly be enough best ring them and ask but they arent easy to get answer from as I have asked previously and was basically told to just fill in the form and pay fee for card

If you find out post on here mate would like to know myself

Hi everyone, just joined so this is my first post. To get electrician grade you need 2330 level 2 and 3 or equivalent and NVQ 3 and also 17th edition unless you have 16 th edition. Hope this helps.

Dont need am2 if adult learner. Just 2330 l2/3 ,2356 lv3 and 17th

just as aside comment , i'd rather see a trainee become fully qualified from a am2 rather than nvq3.
ones a gruelling and thorough 2 day practical exam , the other is a portfolio of stepladder risk assessments lol.

Biff I've come to the conclusion you cannot be pleased about anything....lol

You can do your NVQ 3 from a company called quickstep all based on line, you don't need to do AM2 with this. Costs about £800 if you do it all on your own. Can be passed in 3 months so not too much time.
