Another problem encountered today was the rcd tripping with a lighting circuit. What's the best way to find the fault - with dimmers & sensor lights on circuit??
 
Sorry, thought that the whole point of an rcd was to protect socket outlets that may be expected to supply portable equipment outdoors. i.e. your ring circuits
