Lighing tripping rcd

Another problem encountered today was the rcd tripping with a lighting circuit. What's the best way to find the fault - with dimmers & sensor lights on circuit??

Take it off the RCD !

Cant as per AS3000 lighting must be rcd protected.

Sorry, thought that the whole point of an rcd was to protect socket outlets that may be expected to supply portable equipment outdoors. i.e. your ring circuits

Is it a new or existing install?

Can you not put them on non rcd side for testing/fault finding?

Could it be linked in anyway to the pump tripping the RCD too?
