Lights Dimming when oven turns on.

When i turn the oven on, the LED spots dim?
The house is so old and wiring is terrible, Could it be a shared neutral between the circuits somewhere? Could it just be the whole system is being overloaded? nothings ever tripped out because of it.

Has anyone else had a problem similar to this?

I'll be returning to the property soon to investigate the problem. In the meantime I'm curious to what it could be.

It’s an age old problem, more noticeable with filament lamps than LED.

Is the house on its own overhead line, or on a single supply shared with many other houses?
Could be a drop in voltage, or a lot of power being used elsewhere (local factories?)

Is it a recent problem? With all the storm damage there still may be lines down and your being supplied temporarily from a lesser capacity source

From a safety point of view check for any signs of loose or overheating at the CU first!

Then if you do a PFC and PSCC measurement at the CU you should see from the PSCC if it is a "stiff" supply or not. If the PSCC is decent (1kA or more) then it might be something stupid like the LEDs are off the oven supply, and probably not a FCU for fault protection either

I have the same thing going on - however - it's only a certain brand of LED light. I have mixed brands & the others are fine. The normal 240 volt lights are also fine. I suspect that some certain frequency is to blame.
