Main Equipotential bonding

Please if anybody can help where in the BS7671 does it state who is responsible for ME bonding on a new Instalation (barn convertion to ho;iday flats)

The person inspecting and testing it is responsible for inspecting and testing it.

The person doing the wiring for each unit.

Did you leave it for the plumbers to connect up?

Seen a few houses now that had a 10mm2 earth wire run all the way from the MET to under the sink, but never actually attached to the pipe as presumably it had been left for the plumbers to sort out or something.

Not sure how they managed to pass them on the inspection and testing.... probably got the plasterers to do that or something.

I encountered one a while back where the main gas bond ran from the MET through the wall outside to the meter, from here it was just shoved in to the mud about 1 foot deep next to the meter box.

Who needs clamps, just bare the end and insulation tape it to the pipe...
