Megger BM203 bin or repair

Hi,
I have a Megger BM203 which has a faulty display. Should I just bin it, or send it for repair, what do you think?

Are you likely to ever use it?

It is a slightly odball one as it as 100V megger, I do some telecoms stuff and the low resistance range could be useful.

If it has some value to you, then go for it and extend its life

Had a faulty BM80 meter and sent it for a repair. Bad news was that it wasn't no longer supported for spares so couldn't get it fixed.

Don't know if this is a rule for all BM model testers though

Unfortunately the Megger BM200 Series are no longer supported with no spare parts available.

There are still spares available for a few BM Series instruments.
