Metrel 61557 multifunction tester

Im thinking of buying a Metrel 61557 just wondered if you have any feedback on these meters before I get one.

nice and easy to use and to be honest they are cheap enough to pick up if your after a second hand one. there are loads of ex british gas ones on ebay for around 150 if its second hand. a lot of the training ctrs use them, and after chatting to the tech guys at metrel they said they are not a bad tester for the money. if your after a new tester check out Test Meters, Electrical Testing Equipment & Measurement Instruments as a forum member there is a 5% discount

Hi, I bought one off flea bay for £150 quid with a 12 month certificate and as stated it's easy to use and does the job. A little confusing to start as it is labelled differently to the Robin and Megger units we had at college, but at a quarter of the price it's worth it.
