Has anyone done this and if so what was involved

yer just last week, chap comes to you office, goes through all your paper work, then quizzes you for a little while, the off to site, goes through your works then gets you to do some testing, thats it really.

No Danny thats the site visit youve done. I am talking about the trade test at their training dept.

are you meaning to there update courses etc?

its a two day assesment, day one is 3 multiple choice exams (build regs, wiring regs, electrical theory) you pretty much keep taking the tests until all questions have been answered correctly (pretty much a joke) day 2 involves testing single and 3 phase db and completing relevant paperwork.

If successful wether or not you have any previous training then they class you as a qualified spark woopee
