Hi guys, just thought I'd say hello.

I've just done my Part P so that i can safely make alterations to our circuits at work, should be registering with Napit as soon as i get my cirtificate.

Then I'll be buying some kit, so far I'm set on a Kewtech K63 meter unless i can be persuaded otherwise.

Hope you learn loads from the forums.

Welcome along.
You may find you need the test kit before you register with Napit (or one of the other schemes) as you will need to demonstrate your competence in electrical installation to be accepted.
Search their websites for details of what you will need to register with them.

Welcome, part p is not a qualification, just a building reg nothing more, what quals do you have.?

I am aware that Part P is not a qualification but I was under the impression I get a certificate for completing an 8 day course on the subject.

In answer to your question, my quals do not relate to electrics but I'm hoping to progress from what I've learned about Part P.
