Nice to see Elecsa are being recognised by the big companies now

Just seen that British Gas are now registered with Elecsa for their Part P notification and my local authority is accepting Elecsa contractors onto its contractor list

Finally Elecsa are getting the recognition they deserve and we don't have to worry about the scam that is the NICEIC

I think they've always been ECA and now with natural selection their domestic work comes under elecsa?

It's deffo good news, last night I saw on my twitter that apparently Napit are having the highest amount of registrations also.

Maybe they have got fed up of NIC contractors thinking they will always be the chosen ones and in turn wind their prices up a bit.

Fully agree with all these posts, its about time Elecsa got their fingers out, they need to push now to get in front, we members deserve it. After all we pay enough to them. Hopefully someone at Elecsa reads these post, so if you do get us better publicised more, i get sick of reading crap like "The NICEIC, the governing body for electricians", please tell the press that they aren't, and then make the press tell the public they aren't as well.

You need to find out a contact in the procurment team at the council and then get to know them - it still is jobs for the boys and all about who you know,but hey if it gets the work who's complaining
