EAL accepted by the scams? of course.To be honest, I don’t believe the EAL courses are considered the same as the C&G ones.
They are I believe accepted by the JIB for grading but not necessarily by employers.

Unfortunately too many dinosaurs in the trade who don’t look to the future.

Employers will have little choice if your qualified in either C&G or EAL as it will be basically discrimination to choose one over the other .
