Ex has flat in portsmouth with electric boiler. Packed in quoted 3k for replacement. Need someone to check element to see if it needs replacement rather than replace whole boiler. Anyone up for that?

That's a weird looking setup.
It looks like a normal unvented hot water cylinder at first glance, but the immersion heater is too big and has 3 cables going in to it??

Hi, I haven’t installed one, but I think this has a 9kW heater with 3kW elements and some controller, which (if correct ...) may explain the 3 cables.
