I successfully installed one new dimmer switch today, but ran into an issue with the second. There are two one-way switches: one switch operates the light of our ceiling fan and another switch operates the fan. I want to change out the light switch to install a dimmer on it. When I examined the switches I discovered that only the fan switch had a ground wire attached. No ground wire for the light switch. I stopped there and put the cover back on for now. What is the best way to proceed? Connect the ground to both switches somehow? Thank you!
