Discuss RCD protection in industrial setting circuits in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net
Just socket circuits..mostly cabling surface mount in appropriate containment so not requiring additional protectionHi All
Hope someone can help
In industrial setting are all circuits required to be RCD protected ? Or is it just socket circuits ?
Thanks in advance
If they are plugged into the socket circuits i think so.ok that’s great thanks for the responses, what about items that are fixed wired for example heaters that are hard wired and fridges that are hard wired ? Even though they can be moved do they require RCD protection ?
The installation method of the circuit may require it.ok that’s great thanks for the responses, what about items that are fixed wired for example heaters that are hard wired and fridges that are hard wired ? Even though they can be moved do they require RCD protection ?
