Really handy when drilling holes in ceilings when there is lots of insulation above - 7mm hole, push one of these up.... go in loft and check positions before drilling downlight holes...
This talk of nail guns prompts a little safety reminder - your workmate/apprentice is not a recommended nail gun rest ...I like using a nail gun to shoot the cable over suspended ceilings, trouble is the person at the other end sometimes gets it in the head. I was thinking of using a harpoon instead.
