Looking at the electrical safe zones I can run cables within the top 150mm of a wall. I have a vaulted ceiling, would it be ok to run and clip my cables to the wall plate as seen in this image?

I don't think it will make a difference but this is for a lighting circuit, cables will be 1.5mm. They will be run in plastic conduit and plastered over.

If the wall plate is as shown in your pic, the cables look like they'll end up more than 50mm from the surface, when boarded, so will be free from safe zone regulations anyway.

Thanks a lot. Yes picture not super accurate so would be more like at the edge of the all. Does this mean it's not a safe zone?
