Hello guys,

I'm fed up with trying to clip to the wall and the nails just bending or the bricks blowing e.t.c. I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy solid raw plugs that I could hammer a nail into, like a plastic dowel, but cut into pieces say the size of a raw plug.

Cheers Guys

seems daft to me, if your going to drill and plug holes every few inches where clips go then another containment method should be considered, yes?

Thanks for the replies as always guys.

i will purchase some of the pin plugs they look ideal.

MDJ, you could be right, but I'm talking about the odd clip not going in e.t.c, the other alternative I suppose would be cleats, conduit e.t.c but I think clips are a lot easier and look a lot nicer too.

B&Q still do those the pin plugs - I bought some a month or so ago.

And I know what you mean about the frustration of nails bending- I've just finished clipping a cable to a brick wall. For the first 10m everything was fine, then for the last 3m every other bloody clip bent when I got in 1/2 way....:mad2:

should've hit 'em straight then.

If you bend them while hitting them in you get a better grip :o
