So glad it went well, Dave. As a bonus, you even managed to get out of Liverpool with your wallet and watch. :smilielol5::smilielol5:

Sorry for not putting much input into the forum for the past week...but as some of you know, I have been in the Royal Hospital in Liverpool, undergoing a cell transplant to help my disabled brother out.
All is looking good, and this new procedure may help future Crohns disease suffers in the future.
Were both getting old...but we look after each other..lol Tanks to MDJ, Tony and others for their support.

Hi Tazz,

I've only just seen this thread as well. I'm very pleased that the operation went well for your brother, that must have been a pretty tough time for all of you. Good for you for being a donor that takes some guts!!

it might be a little inappropriate but it's probably never a good time to talk about it. How many of us carry donor cards?
I do, if there's any bits of me that can help anyone after I'm dead they're welcome to them

Its very noble of you to step up and do the good thing there, I would always do similar for my family if asked. I'm sure everything will be ok, it's amazing what they can do these days. Best of luck with it all.
I have the 115 code on my driving licence

I've got it on mine but just in case, I also carry the card. Mrs Trev and the kids all know about it too even if they do hate talking about it

i did think about donating my organs to medical science, but on second thoughts, decided not to , as doctors have it hard enough without being baffled.

Just came across this Tazz.

Good man and I'm glad it went well.

I carry a donor card and my family all know my wishes.

But like Tel they will all be baffled if the docs want any of it. :D
