I thought you had a 60A switch fuse.
 
So you don't actually know the head fuse size.
 
Trouble with clipped direct as soon as you enter an enclosure with it, unless you remove the outer sheath the rating goes down. Not at home with Regs to give an example.
 
No its a 60a fuse in the head with a double pole isolator coming from the meter.
16m is fine , most me 60amp cut out will not except 25m tails anyway, unless you give it a hair cut.

MF 60 amp will have a bigger hole. (wizards sleeve):)
