I am currently working through unit 307 Task C. All going fine except a bit stuck on this question -

Phase sequence is to be confirmed for the distribution boards and equipment during initial verification. State the 2 types of instrument used to check for correct phase sequence.

So we have a phase rotation tester as number 1.

As for number 2 i am a bit stuck. I know my voltage indicator can perform this test aswell but was wondering if i am missing something as this does not feel like the answer to me.

Thanks in advance for any help on this. :)

I wasnt sure if i wanted to admit it but i am going to.

I actually had guidance note 3 next to me when i asked this question :banghead::oops: Never-mind thats another assignment completed at least

Typical City and Guilds nonsense. They want to know the 2 types of phase rotation tester, on any normal planet, Phase rotation tester would do, but not on planet C&G the mind boggles. I wouldn't mind, but it isn't even important. You use a Phase rotation tester.....end of.

Rant over..............Howard
