a question that i have to ask sorry if it seems daft in advance, when carrying out a PIR,EICR you come accross boards that dont have labels on them , do you put this on report as code 3 ? or do you just take the time to put a new label on the board ( assuming you have them to hand)

i put the labels on. it's quicker than filling in cert. ( and i charge a couple of quid for each.)

They are notices not labels.

but they are notices printed on labels.

I would C3 code - Absence of a detailed legible diagram, chart or table or equivalent of information that has not been provided in the vicinity of the consumer unit and other informative labels. BS 514.9.
Job done:thumbsup:

They are notices, none of which are important.

Now the 18th are calling for 6 monthly testing of rcds so my new roll of rcd test notices, not bloody labels will be no good soon.

Especially the one warning of different colours ........ a waste the the planets resources
Why that wasn't removed from the 18th is beyond me.

that'll be amd #1 to the 18th, due around 2020.

Especially the one warning of different colours .....
I thought it was a sarcastic snipe at being too tight for a Re-wire !
(Don't let neighbours see it)

Who ever bothers testing 'em, anyway. Sorted out a supply for a replacement hot tub last month....RCD knackered.....could have been like that for the last 5 years.

It's just a label.....or notice, sorry W, that most people don't understand, anyway.

Makes you wonder why anyone wasted time changing something that is so unimportant .......

Love to see the reasoning and justification for this .....
