@timhoward
I have these evolution saws and can't fault either of them apart from 0degrees not quite being 0 on the large one, but no issue to square it up before use!

And the little one Evolution FURY6 210 Multi-Purpose Mitre/Table Saw 1200W 240V - https://www.powertoolsdirect.com/evolution-fury6-210-multi-purpose-mitre-table-saw-1200w-240v?gclid=CjwKCAiA8bqOBhANEiwA-sIlN6snMvDQdVb7_JqwyhpGWkr4Wnj5rz9sjaFmT9ShoU_f0y6MPwGU4BoCuQcQAvD_BwE

@Mike Johnson I have used one of those for wood bothering in the past and they are excellent, it wouldn't probably work well for trunking as the depth of cut is only about 10mm from memory.

After marking mini trunking... I use my small 12v Bosch micro angle grinder... works well if your gentle with it....cut and grind/file down...quick too.

I've got some 16 x16mm trunking to cut next week, quite a few angles that are not 45°. Think I'll experiment this weekend, with my multitool

Into the 5th page of discussion about how to cut plastic trunking.
It's New Years Eve, everyone is waiting for the main event at 2400hrs, meanwhile board to tears.

Hmm your on here to, just obfuscation. 🤔

Rather than tick anything off that long 'to do' list left by the other half, I'm spinning my wheels until a few 'new switch won't turn the lights off' threads come along to be read.

Hootenanny starts in seven mins.

Thanks for all the help everyone. I’ve gone with a cheap mitre block for now. I’ve also ordered a Bacho 6” Combination Square. I will be looking at a Mitre Saw in the New Year. I will put up another thread.

Not sure there's any mileage in asking electricians about mitre saws - most won't have experience of different brands, from which to draw comparisons.

Probably better asking joiners as they use mitre saws to earn a living.
