Unusual gas meter bonding

3 gas meters bonded via a rod , I have not been in these properties
just thought I see what others think of this?

Just in case it was a yellow placcie incoming gas main (maniacal laugh ...)

what will the gas monkeys come up with next? plastic earth clamps in case the plastic service pipe is wet?

And if it was a TT installation and that was the means of earthing rod just there, then it’s still wrong, I reckon. The rod should be directly connect to the site MET and the bonding should go there as well. So at least 2 g/y going to MET.

Is it bonding though? the wires go back to the stake not the MET I can see no main earth cable going to the MET from the stake either.

There's a wire looping out of the RH gas box. I expect whoever installed it was combining the wire to the rod from the MET and the bonding wire, instead of running two.

I have not been in the properties only the communal area which is TNC-S PME
makes you wonder why it was done
