Allow me to spell this out in no uncertain terms just in case you missed the point I was trying to make earlier.
You are carrying out work in someone's home which you obviously have no clue how to do correctly and safely. Please stop before you hurt yourself, or worse, someone else. Electricians are generally cheaper and less traumatic than deaths and funerals.
To come here expecting someone to guide you by the hand through this is foolish and, if you're accepting money for it, is frankly reprehensible.
May I ask what you know of safe isolation, cable selection and selection of protective devices to name just three of the many things you should be familiar with before taking on electrical work.
My apologies once again to all but this question has really boiled my blood
If this is indeed the case i for one cannot comprehend why such a question needed to be asked or am i missing something in all this? Is there something special about the water heater or is it being installed in a special location? Do you know what a special location is? Do you know how to do it and are just looking for reassurance about your install method?
Sorry but i just cannot get my head around why an electrician would ask such a question.
