Were is the cheapest place for Calibration ?

Hi Folks, anyone know were the cheapest place is to get my METREL EASITEST multifunction tester calibrated ?

I am in Liverpool Merseyside by the way.

Well I got my megger done at my wholesalers recently which is Denmans cost me £65 quid but took 4 days. Think there's a Denmans in liverpool.

I use these people based in Wigan so not too far from Liverpool

Calibration

If you need a quick turnaround they can do a 24 hour service or a 1 hour one if you are really desparate

probably metrel them selves in normanton. They are having an open day tomorrow with onsite cal from £25

I used a firm called "on-site calibration" they come to you 30 minutes job done. Excellent prices also.

You can calibrate yor own testers these days, I have got a little check box (which I think was about £20) to test IR and continuity side of things, for RCD and loop tests just use your own house.

You need original calibration cert and then all results from your own testing recorded every 2 months, and this is passable by elecsa, and I have done it for the past 3 years.

Definately recommend it.
