So i am currently employed by a JIB company. On my contract they offered me a position as a stage 2 electrical trainee. I have been working in the industry for 5 years now with varied experience. 2 years at a Testing and inspection company, 2 years with a company that predominantly done Housing assosication work, some small commercial projects and small new build developments.
My qualifications:
City and guilds 2365 level 2, i did not complete the 4th year as i worked away to much being promised time to make up days missed and it never happened. so failed to complete 2 assignments.
18th edition
AM2
am currently enrolled on a NVQ level 3 course
have passed the current 2391 combined test and inspection exams
ECS
my current employer will not endorse my NVQ, so they pay me £11.90 which is the stage 1 trainee electrician. I like my job i am not trying to cause an issue but some of this does not seem fair. All training and courses have been paid for by me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hope to hear from you soon.
Kind regards
Jack
