Hi ive just started out as an apprentice and Im looking to invest in a good reliable tester something along the lines of the fluke t140 or fluke t100 any ideas on what you would recommend?

Thanks

recent thread, a member ( can't think) is selling one.

with these fluke t5-600/1000 do you not need a proving unit aswell like with a volt stick?
I'm an experienced gas engineer but only just done a part p defined course and about to buy my first mft.
I have previously just used a multimeter. I have the newish fluke hvac version, whats the advantage of these t5s?

.......

One advantage is when you leave one in a hostel, you know that the person that finds it will get a decent price for it at cash convertors. GRRRR

Pardon me, do you wish to add something constructive?
I've got 8 years full time experience, qualified to level 3 in plumbing and gas, expanding my fathers business successfully that has been established 20 years.
I understand complex heating system wiring but I done a part p course that was cheap with my level 3 and proud to say i just bought a part p test kit so that i can start doing more electrical work to do with my job and testing it properly.
What does ..... mean? Can you answer my original question?
