I was under the impression that the current best practice/regs was to install plug and socket outlets in the cupboards for appliances so they can be disconnected individually from the supply easily for maintenance/repair/replacement
This also makes it much easier to upgrade and change appliances should the need arise?
These sockets can also be fed from a an FCU for additional means of isolation.....

Yes that's what I will be doing - sockets in a box? fixed to the side of the cupboard (not the back) because the side is 18mm and the backs is 8mm.

The socket will be vertical with a small hole in the back of the cupboard to pass through the plug.

With additional grid switch.

You’ve made up your mind. Brill.
The solution you’ve come up with is acceptable regs wise, so I’d recommend you instruct your electrician then discontinue reading this thread as soon as possible.

Get out while you can or confusion will follow. LOL

Really grateful for the advice on here - especially looking for the voids behind appliances and placing the sockets on the side - Brilliant advice.

Admin!
Why are all my reply's to post being denied.
This is the third time I have been on this site and tried to participate in the thread only for a box to appear informing me that it can not be posted and to contact admin which I might add does not have a quick link to do so.
