Hi Guys,

My knowledge limited to just connecting a led light to a driver, but not with a dimmer, can anyone advise how to wiring these 3 items all together please?

Thanks
Leo

Pete,

Firstly, the dimmer goes in the mains (240V) side of the circuit.
If you read the back of the dimmer you'll see that it says 230V on it...
So it goes in the lead from the plug to the power supply, or whatever that box is......

Secondly, again, if you read the back of the dimmer, you'll see it says 40-600W (watts). Your LED wil be way less than 40watts so that dimmer is no use to you. You need a LED-compatible dimmer that is designed for low current dimming. The Varilight V-Pro are decent ones for this purpose.

Thirdly, the driver/power supply needs to be dimmerable. Is it??
Same for the LED itself.
