We have this thread on TilersForums.com and it's just been restarted because the old thread had 20,000 replies and 500,000 views. And there were 700 pages. Started to lag a bit on slow connections.

I think we had a bash of this before, but I can't find the thread, so thought I'd start another one off.

If you have time in the mornings, come post in the thread before you head off to work, let us know what you've got on and what the weather is like in your area etc. Anything at all is fine. :)

Are you sure? I was looking at DeWalt laser levels and I think it's the bracket for one of them :thumbsup:

Well, haven't done a stroke so far today. Sat around waiting for permits. Oh the joys of power stations.

Funny you should mention knees, I ended up on mine after stepping on an unstable rock in the river, result is today I am back in my knee brace, hopefully not for long as I have a very important appointment with a F1 Guru next Wednesday to fish his private stretch of the Itchen. WFMSR.

Quiet day so far today. Not too much to do but as it's Sunday it's double time. It's strange how jobs seem to take longer when you are on double time 🤔

Agree, trouble is in my working life I was the mug paying the double time. 🤣

I had a nice start to Father's Day, not that it's FD here in Spain, that's in July or August, I don't recall.
Anyway, I had a long walk along the beach with my daughter, dipping my toes in the sea as we went. Then we went to my favourite local restaurant where she treated me to Full Scottish (amended) and a couple of bottles of Alhambra beer...so quite a good day so far!

No, but you fitted those ceiling lights last week (the ones with the tiny wee plastic terminal block and the rubber over-sleeve to make it Class 1)
Ok, I'll be there in 10 minutes...
Problem sorted...and usual payment, a litre of Tanqueray gin...
I love the barter system! No income tax, no VAT....as the Trotters used to sing!
Tomorrow morning (Yes, I'm getting ahead of myself here!) I'm off to my favourite club for a walk round the gardens, a walk on the shore, and a Sunday lunch with friends...perfect day of relaxation.
 
It's a magical place and so peaceful...just what I need.
