What I ideally want is a system...

anyone recommend me a good simple book, or a book with a chapter or two, or even online resource that goes into how different central heating systems work and how to diagnose faults. The 2330 never mentioned them :(
Cheers
I was thinking of purchasing one of these 5ltr bottles of central heating cleaner but how on earth do I put it in the system without making a mess?
