I am looking for some advice. I want to add LED lights above wardrobes in the bedroom. I have installed new cable, blocked end to ceiling rose and, changed the existing single switch to a 2 gang switch. Wired existing permanent live to COM 1 and existing switched live to ceiling light to L1. Looped COM 1 to COM 2 and wired brown to L2. Whist the live at the ceiling rose is live, with a tester when switched on, the blue wire is not yet connected to enable the circuit to be completed and the light bulb turn on.

There are also 2 black wires at the switch which have always been redundant, house built 1975.

My question is how should the blue wire be connected.

Many thanks in advance
