hi everyone i have been given the task of wiring up 2 x 32 a ring circuits in a small kitchen protected by 2 x 32a rcbo. the problem is they want both rings to be wired via a emergency stop start button. ie they can push stop button and both rings would de energise.
i believe we would utilise a contactor to achieve this
can anybody advise please much appreciated
nigel

whats the reason as surely the RCBO's will protect the cct and any fault occuring on it?

couldnt you just switch specific sockets, im not an expert so dont listen if silli

you would wire a stop circuit in series with the contactor coil. it would be best if the buttons had release keys, so that the button cannot be reset by accident.

ahhh, thumb salad, yummy
