I have a 3 phase AC motor that I have hooked up in low voltage it is supposed to connect to a 120v input 3phase 230v output speed controller I just don’t know how to hook it up. I think I have it right and will post some pictures down below but I would like to double check before I plug it in.

have you got the spec sheet of the motor and the same for the controller?

something is making me concerned that the combination is wrong at the moment.

p.s. What is the electrical supply you are intending to power this from?

James I think this is very much a USA-spec thing, they have 120V-in 230V-out inverters that use a voltage doubler on the input. At any rate the NEMA 5-20P plug (neutral prong horizontal, hot prong vertical) agrees with the OP's description as 120V We do really need to see the motor spec plate though as you say.
