hi
I have wired up various central heating systems, y-plan, s-plan, under flooor etc . but i will be doing an air source heat system. They have not yet purchased the pump, but i am on with first fixing and i am wanting some advice on what cables are needed before any of the plans / instructions come through. All i have been told is there is a air source heat pump and two water cylinders going up stairs. ground floor has u/floor and upstairs has radiators.
without any plans yet i am guessing - I understand a typical air source requires a 32 amp supply, but will hold fire on that until i know the true size of it.

Does the pump then just require a l/n/sl/earth up to the cylinders for controls, presumably this is fused down in the air source pump, or a seperate fused external supply to be installed up to the cylinders.

No idea what set up these pumps / systems use. Any help or advice on what is needed, or basic schematic , principal would be much appreciated.

thank you.

It really depends on what ASHP is purchased. This is an example of a Mitsubishi ecodan setup.
S-plan which connects to flow temperature controller and control from flow temperature controller to ASHP.
