I follow them on Twitter & Instagram. I know lots of people do rate them, but that’s just what I see on social media, and as we know sometimes things aren’t always as they seem on social media.Read the recent posts on Fusebox boards.

I think Rexel do the Rcbo’s for about £11-12i use BG. with the compact RCBOs. good price from screwfux. even better from TLC.
Do you buy online or from a wholesaler?I quite like the Lewden range. Never had a problem and very competitively priced.
Attached are photos of a couple of Fusebox ones from last week (a 14 way, and a somewhat under-utilized 10 way). The RCBOs are not compact, but at least they don't have trailing earth leads.

Looking forward to hearing back!I’ll offer some feedback soon, I’m fitting one this Friday ?
Just wondering what they are like in terms of quality.. Decent cage clamps, x1 and x5 all good results, well placed knockouts (that actually knock out without bending the casing), etc etc..
@Andy78 You can buy Fusebox from YESSS, not just mail order. YESSS have a nationwide account with the suppliers so any branch can get the stuff in for you. My branch has just taken stock of them after I convinced them to do so.
Some good points:
- The "18th edition" versions include surge protection as standard, no longer bother to try and explain it to customers.
- No messy earth leads for RCBOs.
- Knockouts are secure until removed, and do knock out easily enough when required.
- I've found the cage clamps etc OK, not had any problems.
- Not had any RCBOs fail, all seem to have similar RCD test results (29ms is a common reading both x1 and x5).
Points for improvement:
- Most of the knockouts top & bottom are 25mm or larger (just two 20mm ones). I'd have liked more 20mm ones, though there is room to put your own holes in.
- A compact RCBO would be nice.
Straight from the wholesaler.Do you buy online or from a wholesaler?
Sounds good to me!!As mentioned in earlier post....some feedback on fuse box CU......got to say quite impressed seems good quality all tests fine and nice to work with plenty of room.....one small niggle was the earth bar is so tight to the top I couldn’t fit a croc clip on it but not a deal breaker, will use again ?
I'm just reading this thread for the first time and noticed your first post regarding fitting one on Friday. I was just about to start typing, asking how it went. You're too quick for me though! As mentioned in earlier post....some feedback on fuse box CU......got to say quite impressed seems good quality all tests fine and nice to work with plenty of room.....one small niggle was the earth bar is so tight to the top I couldn’t fit a croc clip on it but not a deal breaker, will use again ?
Good thread Codboy, I've been thinking of moving over to all RCBO's for a while now as well.Sounds good to me!!

I've fitted a few Lewdens which seem fine but I have nothing to compare them with. I'm definitely going to try the BG ones next (from Rexel). I'll try to remember to post once I've fitted one!
If it was down to me I’d install a full Hager RCBO set up. Most punters won’t pay for it! I’ve got a full RCBO Crabtree board in my house.Don't be such a tight ---.....Starbreaker boards are the dogs. DP RCBO's. Devices sit plumb. Cover goes on without a fight. Worth paying for quality.
