hi guys
Just a quick question as I’m being told I don’t have to Would I have to install bonding to water and gas services if I’m to install a fan in bathroom due to it being a special location

you'd need to check and if necessary, install or upgrade main bonding to water and gas ( and any other extraneous parts) and also RCD protection for all bathroom circuits is essential. supplementary bonding is not usually required.

Thanks pal I understand the RCD requirements just my mate said you won’t need to install bonding and just make a note on the minor works but I was sure he was wrong.

What you mate said is different!
You the one who will issue the certificate not your mate

If I was you tell the customer tell them regs say
New bord Gas/water bonding

Small note (get the meter out and spend few minutes insulation resistance then jobs all yours
