Sounds reasonable, will be a lot better than cleating all the SWAs separately, unless you can use trunking and singles?

tray is prob the best option if it has to be armours, think of the time saved rather than cleating, you'l make the money back saving time!

and mark it at the start and finish, any cables on this tray not installed by abc electical will be removed, used to see that quite often, not so much now,i hate tray hoppers...:30:

Funnily enough , its always the alarm contractors that dump their cables uninvited into any containment they find.
;-)

i find it's more usually the data cablers that do this, but only if they are told that they 're not allowed to just throw them laying on the tiles.

I generally find a rouge pair of snips while cutting the tie wraps gets the message across.

My cutters more often than not accidentally cuts cables on ma basket and then acts bemused when asked who's done this!!! :-) To original question, basket is good option! :-)

how big are theses SWA's ?

as for smaller cables you can get those heavy duty cable tie bases and then tie wrap them all together as a bunch.
