30%-40% of my annual income is via sub-contracting work for individual firms. I've been asked loads of times to work for "them" directly. The answer has always been NO. 3 years ago (and just to get the guy off my back, asking me every day kind of thing) asked me to work for his few students lets. I just said yes AND THAT LITTLE FOOKER HAD ME ON VOICE RECORD ON HS PHONE!!! He played it back to my "gaffer" (so he could try and knock off some of the bill, that did not work lol), made me look like a right C***.

Small direct jobs do not pay the mortgage and bills. The 30%-40% per year income dose!

Butter your bread, ---- it up in the air and see which way it falls? Short term fine, long term = out of a job and start looking again. Good luck with that.

Have a pint with the Dad and strings will be pulled and words will be said.
