Hi guys, just want to confirm if i got this right as i dont do many of these and got to get it right for my assessment. Just worrying at moment and seem to be forgetting to most simple things

DB supplied by a submains from the house with own seperate isolation switch.

DB MAIN SWITCH/RCD RATING= has to be greater or equal to design current Ib (in other words max demand of circuits after diversity applied)

Isolation switch rating (Needed as its the 3m rule) = has to cover the current carry capacity of the SWA needed (i think)... OR is it to be able to cover the max demand at other end.
AM I DOUBTING MYSELF HERE.

CHEERS GUYS:confused:

DB main switch has to be able to withstand the current that may possibly be drawn through it!! they normally 63/80/100amp....!!

no point fitting a 63amp DP switch if you intend to juice 90amps past it!!!

think your just worrying to much
