Could be an "iffy" fuse I learnt that at Uxbridge Tech back in 1982 or a temporary or intermittent "glitch" that took the "iffy" fuse out in the plug top.I'm sure some people like to learn.
But anyway if the fuse has blown, that is a sign something else is seriously wrong rather than being the fault itself.
What did they call them in the past "tired" all these youngers are just use to MCB's where you flip a switch.As SWD says, faulty fuses do happen. Rarely admittedly.
