Cross line laser levels

Going to have some spare moneys the end of this month, so I thought I'd buy myself a christmas present..

Been looking at the Dewalt DW087K ;

Best price I've found is £135..

I know there's ALOT cheaper out there, but I do like to believe that if you pay the money you usually get gear that's going to serve you well.

Any views and advice here folks? Really want one of these gadgets.

I haven't got the same one, got a Hilti one slightly more expensive £200 plus the VAT but it comes with a receiver that picks up the line even when in full sunlight life saver in conservatories etc, Though thats only if you think it's worth it, been using it today for getting square edged light fittings square saved so much time!!. Sure the dewalt is just as accurate, remember though they are only as accurate as the surface or tripod they sit on regardless of how much they self-level. Good price though.

i use a cheaper version dont recall make, cost about 70 with telescopic pole and tripod. great for getting all sockets level when floor isnt and for getting rows of downlights straight. love this tool
