Design calcs, design criteria, or working drawings

Hi all I'm in the process of joining elecsa part p and on my assessment day along with many other bits of paperwork they are asking to see a copy of the design calcs, the design criteria or drawings relevant to the work.

When they say design calcs how much detail to you have to go into? Ie do you have to work out the current carrying capacity for each circuit and volt drop, methods of support .....

Again with design criteria what are they asking for? A discription on the design?

Design criteria is the what you are considering for the design. What is the intended use, external influences, customer requests ect. How can you Design to the above, whilst adhering to bs7671. Calcs are for example: calculating Ib, finding In, calculating It. Calculating Volt drop, adiabatic, and short circuit withstand.
