Hi,

Pretty simple question for anyone that knows what they're doing, unfortunately that's not really me!

I'm putting a remote controlled dimmer into our living room and am struggling a bit with which wires to put in which terminals with the switches being 2 way.

THIS DIAGRAM shows what I can see with the switches we have. I have also put a diagram of the dimmer on there too (R is RS, typo). I want to replace Switch 1 with the Remote Dimmer.
According to the instructions provided with the switch, I'm looking to get something like THIS.

Is THIS correct? If so, how do I know which blue/grey wire goes into which terminal on the dimmer? If not could someone point me in the right direction?
(That's meant to show both brown cables goint into L on the dimmer and one of the blue wires will be the grey one but I don't know which.)

Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Greg

EDIT: If this is in the wrong place I apologise and could mods please move it to where it should be? Thanks.

Looks to me like L on your remote dimmer should be linked to L2 on your switch and RS linked to L1 if you already have a 2 way lighting circuit installed. Don't hold me to that though, I've never put one in before!

Last time i put one of these things on i had to have 2 matched switches, one was MASTER and the other was SLAVE. The master went onto the end where the lives came in and the slave went onto the other end.

No amount of jiggery pokery would make it work without the slave switch.
