Hi Guys
I am covering for my mate who is on his hols got a call from a caravan park he covers asking if i can change a dimmer in the clubhouse it works 9 wall lights, as its quite a ride away i wanted to take a dimmer with me if i could do we work on 100w per light ie 900w plus reserve ?
Cheers Haj

Thanks Jason i didnt think i would need 100w per fitting but you never know what they might put in there in the future. cheers :)

Sounds ok but just confirm they are your standard gls lamps and nothing fancy as some dimmers require a reduction of up to 50% on the load they can handle with certain lamps, i,ve found this with gu10 lamps especially, but if you get the right dimmer they dont need allowances, its an issue with older dimmers and often overlooked by alot of people thus dimmers burn out prematurely.
