Hi guys,

I've some questions to know.Normally,I spotted Electrical design in Main Switch Board was installed with IDMT/Overcurrent to the incoming.I slightly confused when we should isntall this part.Only at the incoming MSB?On the other hand,I would like to know when we should apply the Earth Leakage Relay and Earth Fault, and what's the different between them. Some design use Earth Fault in their DB,instead Earth Leakage Relay.Could somebody tell be about this.Tq:confused:

Used to use ELCB's (Earth Leakage Circuit Breakers)

both current operated, and VOELCB's (voltage operated)

to be honest, I dont really understand the question though

and less of the 'old timer' Wayne, i'm only 41:p

My questions then, what's the different between Earth Fault & Earth Leakage Relay. In what way/time we should use this equipment.Let say we talk about Air Circuit Breaker.I understand that we will use it on 1000A and above of incoming current. So, how about the E/F & ELR then.
