Hi all,
Recently did an Eicr. I failed it due to shower being fitted on the opp side to the taps. I was lead to belive it was a C2 fault. Unable to find anything in the regs. Building or 18th. Its a rented property with a tight arse landlord who's asked his mates and come to the conclusion that he doesn't have to move it. Any feed back with relevant regs would be helpful. Cheers Kellogs

Surely a wind up. Hope it’s not serious, there is a real business of that name in … let’s not be specific …but I’ll call it Essex.

Could the taps not be moved to the shower head
I would put c1 for the hole to be in the correct position.

I am afraid your lack of knowledge of plumbing regulations is showing. The real problem is the bath has been plumbed in the wrong way around. So it really does not come within BS7671 etc. So no code.

This can't be real, there is looking for problems and the there is..... this when the only problem appears to be the guy producing the EICR
I find it rather worrying that with all the talk of what is deemed competent to carry out EICR's somebody would post this question
Not really a good advert for the OP especially with their business name in their profile

It’s C1, C2, C3 for things actually checked and be coded.

FI for Further Investigation

NV for not verified. Means it’s there, but I couldn’t physically test it / couldn’t be bothered.

NA no applicable. It’s not there to be tested.
